Out here the Rio Grande runs free and the border has always been a neighborhood, not a fortress. We've watched every administration roll out their vision for this land — razor ribbon, National Guard convoys, razor-sharp rhetoric — and we've got thoughts.

Big sky. Small government. Zero patience for political theater (Starlight is another story entirely).
